So has anyone tried to replicate the rabbit study? Would it be difficult to try to? I wonder if it could be done for a school science fair project. I usually don't get upset over seeing a spider, but given the scary appearance of hobo spiders with their swollen bodies and huge webs, and the rumors that I've heard all my life about them, it's hard for me to believe that they're really not so bad. I'd love to see some more concrete proof in this regard.
ReplyDeleteActually, hobo spider bites have been linked to necrotic arachnidism and systemic poisoning. However, uncertainty exists to how well documented the link between necrotic arachnidism and the Hobo spider really is. If you need more concrete evidences such as this one, you might want to take a look at a credible website about hobo spiders such as this: http://www.hobospiders.net/
